As we enjoy the busy and profitable holidays, we also become inspired to give. The eBay Foundation has become a leader in social innovation spearheading projects throughout the year with programs such as eBay Giving Works and MicroPlace. Learn more about how these and other programs are impacting our world and how you, as a seller and a buyer, can give back.
eBay Giving Works and eBay for Charity has connected customers in the U.S. and the U.K. to support causes they care about. Sellers can donate 10-100% of a sale
to a worthy (registered) nonprofit. Buyers can purchase these specific items
and/or add a minimum of $1.00 donation at checkout.
MicroPlace enables you to make investments in the fight against worldwide poverty.
You select a project that interests you, open a MicroPlace account, and you can pay through PayPal.
The eBay Foundation, eBay Accessibility and the eBay Greener Commerce programs are additional programs eBay has founded and sponsors events all over the world whether for personal needs of the poor or to assist people to get their businesses going.

Give locally. Whether you want to donate money, items or your time, giving locally can be extremely rewarding as you can often see, first hand, how your generosity helps.
