ICE Atlanta eCommerce Conference a Success

For the last several weeks, we've been working up to the Internet Commerce Entrepreneurs (ICE) Atlanta Ecommerce Conference. On October 5th, I hopped on a plane and made my way to Atlanta. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as this was their first official event, but given all the hype on their Facebook group page and all the back and forth from co-founder  John Lawson (ColderICE), I was pretty sure I wouldn't be disappointed.

Wow! What an event! It was made up of a small group of very intuitive eTailers along with some great vendors (Kabbage, ReplyManager, Vendio, comGateway), 5 speakers, and other experts that knocked my socks off. The very cool part of this entire conference is that in between speakers, small round-table sessions called PHPs (Peers Helping Peers) were set up so attendees could get one-on-one time from experts and their peers. A few very brave souls also volunteered to have their website reviewed by everyone in the room. They survived and came away with valuable insight that will most certainly help improve their sales if implemented. Here is a quick overview of what you missed.

Main Conference Topics:
  • The 5 Truths of SEO
  • Major Trends in Ecommerce
  • How to Increase Sell-through Rates
  • Killer Apps Everyone Should Be Using
  • What the Big Brands Are Doing
Round Table Discussions:
  • Brand Marketing/PR
  • Website Design
  • SEO
  • PPC
  • Small Business Tech
  • Amazon Fulfillment
Why am I gushing about this on our ReplyManager blog? I think that our customers could benefit greatly by joining this group. In addition to being there to promote ReplyManager, we also hoped to learn some key things that we can pass on to our customers to help their eCommerce business grow. We did. And we'll be devoting our next couple of blog posts to that very topic.

If you aren't a part of this group already, definitely consider joining. We're even giving away an 18-Month membership. Check it out. You won't be sorry.

ICE, if you're reading this, we're looking forward to the next one!

Until next time...
