eMarketer published an article last week about the rising prices of gas and how they affect online shopping habits. Retail stores showed a decline in sales while their websites showed a significant increase. While Convenience remained the #1 reason to buy online, 54% cited rising gas prices as incentive while 48% cited overall lower pricing.
