Before you begin, take a moment to decide how many folders you will want for your Amazon store (shipping, returns, etc.). For optimal organization, we suggest you begin by separating out Amazon Customer Inquiries from Amazon System Messages.
Step 1 - Setup Folders
Go to Maintenance > Folders, Add New Folder
Create Amazon Customer Inquiries Folder (for each additional store)
- Enter the Name of your Amazon folder (ex: Amazon FR - Customer Inquiries)
- Insert a From Email address for replies. This must be a registered email address with your Amazon account (required in order to reply to customer messages).
- Save Changes.
Create Amazon System Messages Folder (for each additional store)
- Enter the Name of your Amazon folder (ex: Amazon FR - System Messages)
- This folder is meant to capture system messages from Amazon and won't require a response, so there really is no additional configuration needed for this folder.
- Save Changes.
Step 2 - Create Matching Rules
Go to Maintenance > Rules, Add New Rule
Create Amazon Customer Inquiries Rule (for each additional store)
- Enter the Name of your rule and set the ranking to 4.
- Set the Conditions to match All Conditions.
- Add the following condition:
From > Contains > @marketplace.amazon.fr (for other international Amazon stores, refer to the list below for the appropriate address) - Select a folder to route the emails into (Amazon FR - Customer Inquiries).
- Apply This Rule to the appropriate account. It is ok to select ALL accounts until you enter the new email account information (under Maintenance > Accounts). Once you have created the account (Do NOT make the account active yet), return to this rule and highlight the specific email account.
- Save Changes.

- Set the Conditions to march All Conditions.
- Add the following condition:
From > Contains > @amazon.fr (for other international Amazon stores, refer to the list below for the appropriate address) - Select a folder to route the emails into (Amazon FR - System Messages).
- Apply This Rule to the appropriate account. It is ok to select ALL accounts until you enter the new email account information (under Maintenance > Accounts). Once you have created the account (Do NOT make the account active yet), return to this rule and highlight the specific email account.
