Etail sellers in the US get ready. USPS has recently announced that effective on January 17, 2016, shipping service rates will see increases in several areas. - Priority Mail Express - Commercial Plus: 48.2%
- Priority Mail - Commercial Plus: 13.3%
- Parcel Select - Lightweight: 23.5%
- First-Class Package Service: 12.8%
- Standard Post (Retail Ground): 10%
USPS isn’t the only shipper raising rates. As of December 28th this year, UPS is raising rates by an average of 4.9% for Ground services, and 5.2% for Air. FedEx’s rate hikes will be effective as of January 4, 2016; average of 4.9%, increase across the board.
